Run Kitty is made by Workbench Entertainment, a game studio based in Skopje, North Macedonia (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Run Kitty app for Android (package name com.workbench.runkitty). For data protection laws, we are the controller of the data described here.

To keep your progress, the game saves a small amount of data on your device only:
This data is not sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data in Android settings.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. The services built into the game (see the next section) collect:
All purchases in the shop use in-game fish only. The game has no real-money purchases.
Shows the optional rewarded ad (“watch an ad to double your fish”) and an occasional full-screen ad between runs. Ad content is limited to Google’s G rating (suitable for all ages). AdMob may use the data above to show and measure ads and, outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, to personalise them. Players in the EEA, UK and Switzerland only see non-personalised ads.
Tells us how far players get, which outfits are popular and how ads affect play, so we can improve the game. Our AdMob and Firebase accounts are linked, so ad earnings can be measured alongside gameplay. Google Ads may use this data to measure our own ad campaigns for Run Kitty.
Outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the game tells Meta Platforms when it is installed and opened and when you reach milestones (your first run, 5 and 20 runs, 500 m, ads watched, outfits bought with fish), together with your advertising ID and basic device information. This lets us measure and improve our own Run Kitty ads on Facebook and Instagram. We switch on Meta’s Limited Data Use setting, and players in the EEA, UK and Switzerland send no data to Meta.
Checks whether privacy laws such as the GDPR apply where you play. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland it marks your device as possibly under the age of digital consent, so only non-personalised ads are shown and no consent form appears.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Showing personalised ads may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some US state laws. Section 06 explains how to opt out.
For players in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we treat every player as possibly under the local age of digital consent: ads are never personalised and no data is sent to Meta. We rely on our legitimate interests for non-personalised ads, basic analytics, security and fraud prevention.
Progress saved on your phone stays there until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for the retention period set in our account, no longer than 14 months, and is then deleted automatically; reports we build from it contain only totals. Google and Meta keep advertising data according to their own policies, linked above.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to opt out of targeted advertising.
Because we don’t know who you are, the easiest way to delete everything is to reset your advertising ID and uninstall the game. You can also email us. To help us find analytics data from your device, we may ask for details such as your device model and the dates you played. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In North Macedonia that is the Personal Data Protection Agency.
Run Kitty is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game and data was collected, contact us and we will help delete it. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, where the age of digital consent can be up to 16, every player gets non-personalised ads only and no data is sent to Meta.
Google and Meta may process the data described here in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, they use approved safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Data is sent over encrypted connections.
If the game starts using new services or data in new ways, we will update this page and change the date at the top. For important changes, we will also let players know in the game or in the Google Play listing.
